Generations in the making

Twenty Years ago our owner, Rick White, started working with his father in their family woodshop creating beautiful cabinetry, and furniture for local New England families. As he got older he moved on to other aspects of construction, working as a Construction Superintendent in the commercial construction industry. Rick has worked on extremely detailed projects ranging from four million, to fifty million in project scope, but his love for woodworking never stopped! In addition to running some of the regions most exciting jobs, Rick continued building fine woodworking pieces. In recent years Rick’s father was diagnosed with a uncurbable cancer, which has really made him focus on the things that he loves, and woodworking has always been just that; a love.

R. White Woodworking is a fully custom, fine woodworking shop, located in New England, and prides itself on making our customer’s dreams reality. We work with local wood suppliers, to source the best material for each project. Everything in our shop is hand-made; our woodworkers touch every single piece of your project. All our dovetail joints are hand-cut, for the strongest drawer boxes, and joints. All our cabinets are made with real plywood, for the most strength, and durability. All our cabinet doors are made with hardwood stiles and rails. Our stained doors come with solid wood center panels, joined by hand, in our shop. Our paint-grade, center panels are made from MDF so that there is no expansion/contraction, leaving you with cracked paint. If you order paint-grade, but unfinished, the piece will come sanded, filled, and ready for paint. Since we are fully customizable send us a picture, or drawing, of what you are looking for, and we will make that dream come true!
